Our Lady Peace - Happiness is not a fish that you can catch

Gravity was great. It was a really good CD and I have had a hard time putting it away. I decided that it was time to try out some of their other CDs. I found my self at Media Play and found three CDs. I picked the middle one (middle based on cost and age). I may have picked wrong. The music is good, but the lyrics are whiny and lame. At work without my headphones on all I could hear were someone’s voice whining. I put on my headphones and was really disappointed by what I heard. That’s not to say there isn’t anything good on the CD, but there isn’t enough good on it to justify paying anymore than $13 for it. Good thing I got it for $12.99. Track 5 is called “Is anybody home?” and it would have to be my favorite song. This CD makes them sound like a bad Oasis song, repeated 11 times. I like Oasis, I also liked Out Lady Peace’s most recent album, but after hearing this CD I’m questioning how much I really like Gravity, or Oasis. I don’t recommend this CD. I will still pursue the other CD’s these guys have out, but I’m more hesitant than I was before.
